Shrimand Rajchandra Ashram Satsang Hall

Satsang Hall is the centrepiece of a 100 ha. masterplan for the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission.

The structure of the building features gently curving, 500mm thick interlocking sheer walls.

Perforations in the walls let in streaks of natural light.

The building consists of 13 stacked rooms, rotated 45-degrees on top of each other.

A 56m column-free drum with curved and arching walls encloses the main auditorium.

The exterior façade is clad with over half a million hand cut marble bricks sourced from Makrana, Rajasthan.

Now under construction, the building is set to be completed in 2022.
