Tampines Funeral Parlour

The funeral parlour is designed as a series of stacked rooms that are naturally ventilated.

This is in response to the customs of attending wakes in Singapore, which are always held in make-shift tents in housing estates.

Circulation routes are sheltered from the sun and rain whilst remaining naturally ventilated by a façade of fluted perforated aluminium panels.

The funeral hall can be partitioned for two separate families while individual rooms allow for personal mourning.
